Robert A. Ranallo, CPA/ABV, JD, CVA, CFF
Bob Ranallo is the Partner-in-Charge of Skoda Minotti’s Valuation & Litigation Advisory Services group and the Advisory Partner for the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Group. Bob also works extensively with firms and companies in a number of different industries. He assists clients with strategic planning and a wide variety of business advisory services, litigation advisory services, business valuations, succession and estate planning, mergers and acquisitions.
Bob is an Accredited Business Valuator, a Certified Valuation Analyst and Certified in Financial Forensics. Bob is a licensed attorney and has served on a number of occasions as a court-appointed special master, expert and neutral in the resolution of complex commercial disputes. He has extensive experience in receiverships, mediations and arbitrations, and has testified as an expert witness in both federal and state court. Bob has a unique expertise in the area of criminal tax investigations and has engaged in extensive expert consulting for law firms.
Bob is a former partner in a prominent Cleveland law firm where he practiced as a transactional lawyer, counseling closely-held business owners in the areas of commercial transactions, real estate development and finance, construction law, estate and succession planning, commercial and tax litigation and several tax investigations.
Bob received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with honors. He also received his Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from The Ohio State University College of Law. Bob is a currently a member of several professional organizations including the Ohio, Cleveland, and Lake County Bar Associations, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
Bob is a graduate of Leadership Lake County and is an active member of his community. He is a member of the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce and the Willoughby Rotary. He also serves as President of the Village of Waite Hill Council, trustee at the Andrews Osborne Academy, and a trustee and legal counsel to the School of Fine Arts.
