James P. Sacher, CPA

Jim Sacher is a partner with Skoda Minotti. His responsibilities within the firm include leading our Healthcare Practice and our IT Services Group in addition to having a large and varied accounting practice. In these roles, Mr. Sacher provides consulting services to a variety of businesses including closely held or family businesses, physician practices, hospital based physician groups, hospitals, emerging technology companies and service businesses as they develop strategies for changes taking place in today’s competitive market. Mr. Sacher also specializes in healthcare issues such as practice acquisitions, strategic planning, physician compensation, managed care analysis, physician practice valuations, and process improvement. Mr. Sacher is a frequent speaker and discussion leader to various groups and organizations. His audience includes physicians, medical managers and certified public accountants on current healthcare topics such as Practice Valuations, Physician Compensation, Optimization of Revenues and others. In addition to these roles, Mr. Sacher leads the firm’s own strategic planning efforts.

After graduating from Miami University with a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting, Jim spent thirteen years in the tax practice of an international accounting firm before joining Skoda Minotti.

Jim’s professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute and Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is active in the community, serving as Chairman of the Board of the Cleveland Society for the Blind and President of the Board of Trustees of the Cleveland Eye Bank.
