Skoda Minotti is proud to announce Jaike Hornreich, CISA, GPEN, has passed the Global Information Assurance Certification Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification. Hornreich is among an elite class of less than 2,500 people who have been recognized with this certification.
GWAPT certification measures an individual’s understanding of web application exploits and penetration testing methodology
Web applications are one of the most significant points of vulnerability in organizations today. Major incidents impacting organizations such as Target, J.P Morgan Chase, 7-Eleven, JC Penney, Heartland Payment Systems, Visa Jordan, Global Payment, JetBlue, and Dow Jones have led to the loss of hundreds of millions of credit card records and other personal information. Hackers used a very common web application flaw (SQL Injection) to gain entry into the organization’s systems and/or to further escalate access across internal networks.
“I am honored and delighted to receive the GWAPT certification and be among a select few in my profession,” Hornreich said. “This is a major milestone in my career, and shows my dedication to providing valued security testing services to our clients.”
Hornreich has also earned designations as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN).
