CMO Survey Indicates Marketing Spending on the Rise
According to the August 2012 edition of the CMO Survey, marketing spending is on the rise. As a percent of total company budgets, marketing budgets rose 40% (8.1% of total budget in February 2011 to 11.4% of total in August 2012). When looked at as a percentage of company revenues, there was a jump from 8.5% in February 2012 to 11% in August 2012. Read more about these increasing trends here.
