Network Vulnerability Assessments

Computer Security Penetration Testing
While vulnerability testing provides an excellent starting point in assessing information security, penetration testing gives financial institutions another level of information security. In a penetration test, Skoda Minotti Financial Institution Services actually attempts to log into the systems and attack the servers, trying to gain access to the network to identify any lapses or exposures in information protection. This includes exposures that may have surfaced during the vulnerability scans.
Our computer security penetration testing process is thorough. We examine a bank’s server to discover all public information that would be available to an attacker and identify private information that may be used by unauthorized individuals. We implement a series of automated and manual scans that are used to discover all open ports through your Internet presence, find existing vulnerabilities, and identify any rogue modems that allow inbound connections.
Additionally, publicly gathered information is utilized to deploy social engineering tactics on your employees, revealing the security awareness level of employees in order to plan any necessary training.
