Rudy A. Mayoz, CPA, CGMA, Obtains Advanced Global Business Designation

TAMPA, FL (April 2, 2013) – Rudy A. Mayoz, CPA, CGMA, senior tax associate with Skoda Minotti, has obtained his Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) credential.  The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) award the CGMA. Conditions for credentialing include passing the uniform CPA exam and meeting additional state-specific requirements, as well as management experience.

Management accountants specialize in driving performance through best practices, risk management, strategy and operations, and are primarily based in business and government settings.    

Mayoz has been with Skoda Minotti’s Tampa office for four years. He specializes in the real estate construction/development industry, helping business owners with accounting, business consulting and tax return needs. He serves on the AICPAs National Financial Literacy Commission and is a recent graduate of its 2012 Leadership Academy. In addition, Mayoz participates in Emerge Tampa Bay, a young professionals leadership program of the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, along with various financial literacy efforts in the Tampa Bay area.
