Where to Find Money in Ohio

The Ohio Third Frontier (OTF) program has just received additional funding opportunities!  The Ohio Development Services Agency, which now administers the OTF programs, has $60 million for its Pre-Seed/Seed Plus Fund Capitalization Program. Awards range from $500,000 to $5 million, and of course there are several requirements.  See for more information.  The program is designed to provide loans to investment funds that invest in Ohio-based pre-seed, technology-based ventures.

Since 2002, the OTF program has funded dozens of programs to accelerate technology and innovation through grants and loans totaling $2.1 billion.  The programs focus on attracting talent and a workforce in Ohio; commercialization opportunities in Ohio; attracting non-Ohio investment into Ohio; and accelerating innovation.

If you are an early-stage, pre-round company with venture capital relationships, make sure they know about this exciting program.  Let them know that Ohio leads the way in innovation, and the OTF program is dedicated to business expansion in Ohio.
